Raeburn takes its name from an Olde English word meaning "the river where one goes to drink" — fitting for a winery built along Olivet Road in the heart of the Russian River Valley, where fog rolls off the water each morning and settles into the vines. It's a name the estate lives up to literally: the river is never far from the glass.


Kreps Co engaged me to capture that relationship in photo and video — a day built around Raeburn's Sonoma County wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon) the way they're actually poured, not staged. A wine bottle set on a dock railing. A glass raised beside a woven picnic blanket. Hands passing a pour across a half-finished dinner table as the light turns gold.


Various setups carried the story: late afternoons down by the river, where fog, reflections, and filtered light did most of the work, and a golden-hour dinner table, where linen, ceramics, and last light turned an ordinary meal into something quietly elevated. The result is warm, tactile, and unhurried — imagery that carries Raeburn's river straight through to the glass.
